Time Cards and Signing Off on Hours

Learn how to review your hours and sign off on time cards from the Workglue mobile app.

At the end of a pay period, your office may request that you sign off on your hours before they are submitted for payroll. The sign-off is your confirmation that the hours recorded are correct. From the mobile app, you can view your time card, review every clock-in and clock-out, and either sign off or flag a discrepancy.

Reviewing your hours

  1. Open the Workglue V2 app.
  2. Select Week Hours.
  3. Select the pay period you want to review.

You see every clock-in and clock-out for the pay period, organized by Job and date.

When a sign-off is requested

When your office admin requests sign-off:

  1. You receive a notification in the app.
  2. The notification links to your time card.
  3. You can review your hours and sign off or contact the office about a discrepancy.

You may not be asked to sign off every pay period. It depends on your office's process.

Signing off

If your hours look correct:

  1. Open your time card from the notification or from your Profile.
  2. Review every clock-in and clock-out.
  3. Select Sign Off or the confirmation option.

Your sign-off is recorded and visible to the office.

Flagging a discrepancy

If your hours do not look correct, contact your office admin.

Multiple sign-off requests in one pay period

Sign-off requests can be sent multiple times in the same pay period. If your hours need to be adjusted and re-approved, the office sends a new request after making the correction. Sign off again on the corrected time card.

Your sign-off is your record. Once you sign off, you are confirming the hours are correct as recorded. If you find an error after signing off, contact your office admin right away.
