Subcontractors in Workglue
Learn what subcontractors are in Workglue, how they differ from employees, and how to manage them.
A sub is a subcontractor who works on your jobs in the field but does not have access to Workglue. Subs are managed separately from employees and do not count as paid users in your subscription.
Subs vs. employees with a Subcontractor position
These are two different things in Workglue:
- A sub. Added through the Subs tab on the Employee List. Cannot access Workglue. Does not count as a paid user. Can be scheduled for work and have hours logged on jobs in Sub Time.
- An employee with a Subcontractor position. Has a full Workglue account. Is a paid user. Can access Workglue based on their system role. Appears on the scheduler.
Subs added to the Subs tab do not count as paid users in your subscription
