Posting Job Logs
Learn how to post Job Logs from the Workglue mobile app to record daily work, photos, and videos from the Job site.
Job Logs are daily field reports that record what was done on a Job. From the mobile app, you can post a log with notes, photos, and videos, and the office sees it in real time on the web app. Job Logs are how the office keeps track of progress without needing to be on site.
What can go in a Job Log
A Job Log can include:
- Notes. Text describing the day's work or any updates.
- Photos. Pictures taken from the phone or selected from the gallery.
- Videos. Short clips of work in progress or site conditions.

- Select the Job from your schedule.
- Select the hamburger menu in the top right.
- Select Add job log.
- Type your notes.

Adding a photo on its own
If you only need to add a photo to the Job without posting a full Job Log:
- Open the Workglue V2 app.
- Select the Job from your schedule.
- Select the hamburger menu in the top right.
- Select Add a photo.
- Take a new photo or select one from your gallery.
- Save.
Viewing past Job Logs

- Select the Job from your schedule.
- Select the hamburger menu in the top right.
- Select Job log history.
- Scroll through past logs from newest to oldest.
Where photos and videos from Job Logs appear
Photos and videos you attach to a Job Log appear in two places on the web app:
- On the Job Logs tab of the Job, attached to the log entry. The tab shows an attachment count, like "Job Logs 4 Attachments."
- In the Files section of the Job, under Mobile uploads.
In the mobile app, you can also see these uploads by going to Files on the Job's hamburger menu and selecting Mobile uploads.
When to post a Job Log
Post a Job Log:
- At the end of each work day to record what was done.
- When something noteworthy happens, like an incident, a delay, or a change to scope.
- When you take photos that document conditions, progress, or completed work.
Make Job Logs part of your end-of-day routine. A 30-second log at the end of every day is much easier than trying to remember what happened a week later when the office asks.
Editing or deleting a Job Log
Job Logs cannot be edited or deleted.
