Job Log Report

Learn how to use the Job Log Report to view, search, and filter daily field log entries across every Job in your account.

The Job Log report is where every Job Log posted from the field across your account appears in one list. Use it to review what happened on Jobs across a date range, search by worker or content, and see attached photos and videos posted from the field. Job Logs are the daily field reports your crew posts from the Job Log tab on individual Jobs, and the report aggregates all of them in one place.

Accessing the Job Log report

  1. Select Reports in the navigation.
  2. Select the Job Log tab.

The Job Log tab loads as the default view of Reports.

Report columns

Each row in the Job Log report shows:

  • Log Info. The worker who posted the log, the date, and the timestamp.
  • Job. The Job the log is attached to. Select the Job name to open the Job page.
  • Notes. The content of the log entry.
  • Attachments. Thumbnail preview of any photos or videos attached to the log.

Each column header has a sort arrow. Select the arrow to sort the report by that column.

Filtering the report

Two filters are available at the top of the report:

  • Search. Search by worker name, Job name, or note content.
  • Date range. Two date pickers in the top right. Set a From and To date to filter logs to a specific window.

Reload the page to clear filters.

Use the date range filter at the end of a pay period to review every field log posted during that period, especially for documenting incidents, safety issues, or material usage.

Viewing log details and attachments

Select any row to expand the log entry. Attachments open in a preview window where you can view photos and videos at full size, or download them.

Job Log entries from the mobile app

Job Logs are posted from the field by workers using the mobile app on each Job. Each log includes notes, optional photos, optional videos, and is automatically tagged with the worker name, Job, and timestamp.

The Job Log report is read-only. To edit or delete a log entry, open the Job and go to the Job Log tab on that Job.
