Checklists Report

Learn how to use the Checklists report to track checklist completion progress across every Job in your account.

The Checklists report is where every checklist applied to a Job appears in one view, grouped by Job. Use it to see which checklists are in progress, which are complete, and which items have been ticked off with completion dates. Checklists are the predefined step lists applied to Jobs from your checklist templates, and the report gives you a single place to see completion progress across all active work.

Accessing the Checklists report

  1. Select Reports in the navigation.
  2. Select the Checklists tab.

Report layout

Each card on the Checklists report represents one checklist applied to one Job. Cards show:

  • Job and checklist name. The header of each card shows the Job name combined with the checklist template name. Example: Bldg 1529 & 1530 Gowen CERTIFIED PAYROLL - Z. Contract Checklist.
  • Progress indicator. The top right of each card shows X of Y complete with a progress bar. A full bar means every item is ticked off.
  • Checklist items. Each item shows the item name, completion status (filled radio means complete, empty radio means incomplete), and the date the item was completed.

Reading checklist progress

  • Filled radio button. The item is complete. The completion date appears next to it.
  • Empty radio button. The item is incomplete and has no completion date.

Cards with 7 of 7 complete have all items checked off. Cards with 0 of 7 complete have no items checked off yet.

Sort or scroll the report to find Jobs that are partway through a checklist (such as 4 of 7 complete) to identify work in progress that needs follow-up.

Managing checklists on a Job

The Checklists report is a read-only summary view. To edit, complete items, or add notes to a checklist, open the Job, select the Checklists tab, and make changes there.

Checklist templates

Checklists shown on the report are applied to Jobs from your company's checklist templates. Templates are managed in My Account > Custom Fields > Checklist Templates.

Checklists can be applied to a Job manually or automatically through Automations. The report shows every applied checklist regardless of how it was applied.
