Attendance Report
Learn how to use the Attendance report to review worker attendance issues across your account.
The Attendance report is where every attendance entry logged in Workglue appears in one list, with the employee, date, Job, scheduled hours, and the reason for the attendance issue. Use it to track Late, No Show, and Called In events across all workers, filter by date range, and export the data as a CSV for payroll, performance reviews, or HR records.
Accessing the Attendance report
- Select Reports in the navigation.
- Select the Attendance tab.
Report columns
Each row in the Attendance report shows:
- Employee. The worker the attendance entry is logged against.
- Date. The date of the scheduled shift.
- Job Name. The Job the worker was scheduled on.
- Start Time. The scheduled start time of the shift.
- End Time. The scheduled end time of the shift.
- Reason. The attendance reason code: Late, CalledIn, No Show - No Call, or Other.
- Description. Any note added when the attendance entry was logged.
Each column header has a sort arrow. Select the arrow to sort the report by that column.
Attendance reasons
Workglue tracks four attendance reasons:
- No Show - No Call. The worker did not show up and did not contact the office.
- CalledIn. The worker called in to report they would not be at work.
- Late. The worker arrived after the scheduled start time.
- Other. Any attendance issue not covered by the other reasons. Add detail in the Description field.
Filtering the report
Two filters are available at the top right:
- From Date. Start of the date range.
- To Date. End of the date range.
The report updates automatically when you change the dates.
Exporting the report
Select Download CSV in the top right to export the report as a CSV file. The export includes every column visible in the report and respects the date range filter.
Pagination
Use the controls at the bottom of the report to navigate pages and change how many rows display per page. The default is 100 rows per page.
Marking attendance
Attendance entries are not added from the report. They are marked from the scheduler in the By Worker view. For full instructions, see Tracking Attendance.
Attendance can only be logged against workers who are scheduled. If a worker clocked in without a schedule, it appears in the Dashboard as an Unscheduled badge, not in the Attendance report.
