An Introduction to the Workglue Mobile App

Learn what the Workglue mobile app does, who it is for, and how to download and log in for the first time.

The Workglue mobile app is built for field workers, crew leaders, supervisors, and anyone working on-site. It is how your field team views their schedule, clocks in and out, communicates with the office, and stays on top of the work without needing a computer or the web app. The mobile app pairs with the Workglue web app so what happens on site shows up in the office in real time.

What the mobile app does

With the Workglue mobile app, field users can:

  • View their assigned schedule.
  • Clock in and clock out of Jobs.
  • Access Job details including contacts, files, work orders, and tasks.
  • Complete Job Tasks and Job Checklists.
  • Communicate with the office through Field Messages.
  • Post Job Logs with notes, photos, and videos.
  • View their hours and sign off on time cards.
  • Submit time off requests.

Who uses the mobile app

The mobile app is for anyone who works on a Job site. Common users include:

  • Field Workers. Clock in and out, complete tasks, post logs, message the office.
  • Crew Leaders. Manage their crew on site, post field messages, log progress.
  • Supervisors. Visit Job sites, check on progress, post logs and photos.
  • Subcontractors with employee accounts. If your subs have full Workglue accounts, they use the mobile app the same way as employees.

Office users typically use the web app for day-to-day work. The mobile app is for on-site work.

Downloading and installing the app

  1. Open the Apple App Store on iPhone or the Google Play Store on Android.
  2. Search for Workglue V2.
  3. Select Get or Install to download the app.
  4. Open the app once it is installed.

Logging in for the first time

  1. Open the Workglue V2 app.
  2. Enter the mobile number on file for your employee profile.
  3. Workglue sends a verification code by SMS.
  4. Enter the verification code in the app.
  5. You are logged in.

What you can do depends on permissions

What you see and what you can access in the mobile app depends on what your office admin has set up on your employee profile. If you expect to see a Job and do not, or a feature is missing, contact your office admin.
